Children see, children do

This video, an advertisement from NAPCAN, was shown in one of the parenting seminars in my church a few years back.  It tells a very powerful message about how our behavior as parents influences what our children become.  It stuck strongly in my head, even if it was a long time ago.  Here’s the vid:

So true, isn’t it?  That’s why it’s so, so, SO important that we train ourselves as parents whenever possible.  Again, I would like to encourage you, beg you even, to attend the December 4 parenting talk by two of Asia’s best motivational speakers, Francis Kong and Peter Tan Chi.  It’s at the Limketkai Atrium, 2-6pm.

PARENTING WINNERS is already next weekend, and it is my hope that you already have your tickets for it.  It’s been sold out in the school I work for, but maybe you can ask Rotary or the school your child attends if there’s still any more.

Truly, I would love to see you there.  Anyone can father a child, but rarely do men truly father.  I don’t think I’ve arrived yet, but if it weren’t for the equipping I get from events like these, I’d be much worse off than I am now.

Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge.” (Proverbs 23:12)
